Program Conference, 19 November in Stockholm

On the 19 November, Mistra Digital Forest hosted a program conference at The House of Industry and Commerce in Stockholm. Approximately 110 participants attended, and Kristina Knaving of RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden was the keynote speaker. She talked about what we need to understand about AI and Generative AI in organisations and in society.

The audience was also asked to identify which promising opportunities they saw for AI in forestry. Here are some examples of the responses given: resource efficiency, decision support, a better working environment, precision forestry, and analysis of the complex environment that constitutes the forest.

Audience question: ‘How do you feel about AI?’” The most common answer: "Exciting" (Spännande).
